MetGIS WEATHER WARNINGS

Weather early warnings for your safety

Our weather is characterized by complexity and numerous influencing factors. This means that constant change is, in fact, the norm. It becomes problematic and dangerous when unpredictable extreme events occur. These often lead to serious damage and disruptions. Regardless of the industry, severe weather can cause serious problems.

First and foremost, the safety of people is of the utmost importance. It is also important to minimize financial losses and downtime, including crop losses. Climate change is expected to increase the intensity and frequency of extreme weather events.

MetGIS takes the latest weather alerts from all European weather services, updates them continuously, and compresses them into a GeoJSON file for further use. Warnings are listed by country, content and area of alert, alert level, and validity period. This allows you to take the appropriate action in a timely manner and to be prepared for the disruptive effects of severe weather.
