Point API: How many API calls do I need?
With our standard packages, an API call for a single location provides the weather forecast for the next few days in various time resolutions, as well as current weather and astronomical data (depending on the data package).

Maps API: How many API calls do I need?
An API call enables access to a “weather tile”. This corresponds to a 256 x 256 pixel segment of the weather map for a specific point in time. Depending on the device, a map on the screen is made up of approx. 15-20 tiles. The map is rebuilt when a user changes the parameter, the zoom level, the geographical section or the forecast time. It can be assumed that on an average visit, a user looks at 5 weather maps and downloads approx. 100 tiles.

Hist API: Price of data packages (one-time query) The price of data packages for historical weather data (one-time query) is made up of a set price and the cost of the required data volume. This depends on the number of desired data points/locations, the number of data years and the number of required weather parameters.

Hist API: How many API calls do I need? An API call allows access to the daily updated historical weather information of the last week/month for a single location. When retrieving data in daily resolution (incl. max/min values), one API call is sufficient for all weather parameters, whereas for data in hourly resolution, a separate API call is required for each weather parameter.
