AGIT-2025

MetGIS at AGIT 2025

AGIT is a well-established event that has been taking place in Salzburg for over 30 years. For us at MetGIS, as experts at the interface between meteorology and geographic information systems, this event is a must-attend.

We had the privilege of attending the 2025 trade fair (held on 2 and 3 July), where we showcased our company’s profile with our own stand. MetGIS attracted considerable interest due to its advanced graphical weather animations and our weather APIs, which facilitate the integration of high-resolution weather data into information systems across various industries (e.g., tourism, mobility, energy, and more).

Interalpin 2025

In 2025, MetGIS once again attended Interalpin, the world’s leading trade fair for alpine technologies, which took place in Innsbruck from May 6 to 9. As part of the international B2B meetings organized by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, MetGIS had the privilege of presenting its latest innovation, the MetGIS Pro+ weather dashboard. Managers and technical directors of ski resorts from all over the world were enthusiastic about the possibilities offered by MetGIS’s fully zoomable 3D visualization, which allows high-resolution weather and snow information to be easily communicated to users. We are grateful that MetGIS has also attracted the interest of representatives of winter sports centers in Chile, the Balkan countries, Turkey, Georgia, China, and Japan.
